Today, Febraury 20,2020, SARS officials fired gunshot which allegedly hit two petty traders who were carrying out their trade in their shops at Olomore market, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
According to reports, operative of the Federal Anti-Robbery Squad of Nigerian Police Force ran into the market while chasing an internet fraudster also known as Yahoo Boy, when they opened fire in the market.
The stray bullets hit two traders who were pepper sellers. One was reported shot in the head while the other was shot in the leg.
The traders were quickly taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. Other traders took to the street to protest against the damages caused by SARS in the community.
Informations about the SARS officials are still being collected for proper investigation.
