 - Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, has also wished Tiwa well in her new endeavours

The Nigerian music scene has been wowed with several hit songs from Mavin Records' first lady, Tiwa Savage. The songstress has been known to bless the Nigerian airwaves with her music and is even seen as a threat by other female singers in the industry. Despite having a wonderful career with Donjazzy led Mavin Records, the singer has left the label for American music label, Universal Music Group. Tiwa shared a snap of herself with the CEO of the American company, Sir Lucian Grainge, on social media. See posts below:

Don jazzy also appreciated one of his most successful artistes after spending seven years under his label. According to him, Tiwa was such an inspiration and a friend.

He wrote: “Our darling Tiwa tope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together. As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be. Your jersey as the first lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else. We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amennnn.”

Things are obviously looking up for Tiwa Savage. She recently took delivery of her N60 million Mercedes Benz v250 and used N15 million to clear it. A video of the state-of-the-art car which was customized in the singer's name was posted on Instagram by media personality Azuka Ogujiuba and she revealed that the Mercedes Benz v250, 2019 model cost N60m to purchase while to clear it when it arrived Nigeria was about N15m. The singer's new baby which is referred to as 'Savage Mobile' is described to be like a private jet on the road.
