SON OF ASUU EXECUTIVE KILLED IN LAGOS

Son of Dr AbdurRasheed Adetokunbo, ASUU executive identified as Usaamah,  was reportedly killed in A bike accident which occurred in Lagos. 

Usaamah is said to be a 25 year old lawyer whose father is said to be the welfare office of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU),  Lagos State chapter, he died in a ghastly  accident at Volks bus stop along Lagos badagry express way. 

Usaamah who studied Law at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Kwara state. He was on his Masters at the University of Ibadan (UI), Oyo State. He was working with a Law firm in surulere.  He was coming from  Masha where he was staying with someone due to the distance from his parents house to his place of work when the incident happened.  

It was reported that Usaamah and the bike he boarded were hit by a trailer while trying to avoid an oncoming sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that drove against traffic. A PhD student who saw Usaamah's identity card, traced the address on it to his home and informed his parents. 

One of the teachers identified as Adebanji Adeyemi who taught Usaamah English language at vanguards Academy, a secondary school in Ijebu-Ishiwo, Ogun state, described him as a gentle and intelligent person. 

"The SUV driver who caused the accident, drove on a wrong lane to avoid heavy traffic on the other lane. The okada rider who was trying to avoid a collision with the SUV unknowingly entered the front of a speeding trailer. Both Usaamah and the okada rider died at the spot" an eye witness said. 

"The okada rider has been buried and Usaamah has been buried.
