NIGERIAN MEN FILMED SPRAYING SNIPER ON BEANS TO KILL WEEVIL (VIDEO)

A viral video trending online shows how some men were using sniper insecticide to kill weevils in beans before packaging it. 

Sniper insecticide, marketed by Swiss Nigerian Chemical company, is a dangerous insecticide that should be used outdoors and must be kept out of reach of children and far from food as it can lead to food poisoning if it comes in contact with food. 

In a bid to make profit, some beans sellers used it as a pesticide to make their beans free from weevils.

The young man who saw them said he has seen them doing such countless times at Iddo market but they never listen to him whenever he tells them the harmful effect of the insecticide.

 He said they would claim it is not as raw as the snipers used in killing insects and the effect would die when the beans are heated on fire.
