A lady residing in Lekki, Lagos, took to her twitter account to raise an alarm over the dangers the water in the community is causing.
She emphasized her warning to women who uses the water to wash their private parts to be careful.
According to @Rene_noire, everybody around her seems to get a Fungal infection referred to as "Thrush" after using the water within that area.
She wrote;
"If you live in LEKKI, be careful using the water to wash your Va**na. Everyone around me got Thrush and I'm sure I'll get it next 😩."
Thrush is a yeast infection of the mouth and throat, characterized by patches of white.
Thrush could be a minor problem that can be addressed easily but could be a major infection for those with immune system disorder such as AIDS.
It can be treated with anti fungal medications.
