After years of development, TRANSSION has become an important part of the mobile phone industry and one of the major mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, Itel and Infinix, Carlcare Service Center (After-sales service), as well as Syinix Electronics

We are currently recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Accounting Manager
Location: Lagos


Job Summary
  • We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to serve as the Accounting Manager for Carlcare Development. The Accounting Manager would be responsible for managing various accounting functions, not limited to overseeing the collation and analysis of financial information including general ledger, preparing of financial information and also managing the SAP first line support.
Responsibilities
  • Under limited supervision, plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise staff engaged in various financial activities of the organization and resolve financial system issues.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, subsidiary ledgers, and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins
  • Preparation of consolidated management accounts in a timely manner
  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly gross margin reports
  • Assist in production reporting, and assist in the preparation and analysis for annual standard cost rolls and inventory revaluation
  • Analyze and reconcile all balance sheet accounts related to inventory and standard cost accounting; provide reporting on a monthly basis within required timelines
  • Prepare detailed variance analysis and commentary
  • Perform cost analysis and recommend process improvements for cost-effectiveness.
  • Provides technical guidance and expertise to subordinates and client management and/or technical staff in the day-to-day management of accounting activities.
  • Implement best practice SAP support and change control processes.
  • Maintenance, review and improvement of an effective control environment to ensure consistency.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • Ideal age of candidate is 30-39
  • A strong background in a similar role within the manufacturing sector is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have worked within the Manufacturing environment and have good exposure to group reporting.
  • Minimum of 8 years of proven working experience in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, either as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • Advanced credentials such as MBA, ACA, ACCA are a plus.
  • Experience working with a reputable or multinational company preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in cost analysis required
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP or any ERP Accounting Software.
Competences and Attributes:
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts and reserves
  • Track record of working in a cross functional organization and leading a team
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage a team or group of people effectively.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced, and growth environment.

2.) Accounts Officer
Location: Lagos

Job Summary
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Officer to play an important role within our Accounting team. The location for this employment is Lagos. Interested and qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Description
  • Responsible for confirming and recording all incoming receipts and outgoing payments promptly and ensuring that records are accurate
  • Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Verify that accounts payable and staff reimbursement transactions are done in compliance with all company financial procedures in order to maintain a strong control environment.
  • Attend to Accounts Receivable/Payable/staff reimbursement transactions and inquiries promptly in order to maintain a high level of internal customer satisfaction.
  • In liaison with the accounting team, perform reconciliations to ensure that all relevant receipts and intercompany transactions are posted into SAP prior to the monthly financial closing, as required
  • Assist senior accountant balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and reporting
  • Effectively assist internal and external auditors during audits, when required
  • Matching, checking coding, and Filing of invoices
  • Tracking of expenses and Managing petty cash
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of a HND/B.Sc. in Accountancy, Business or its equivalent (preferred)
  • Attainment of, or studying towards an advanced certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA)
  • would be considered a bonus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar function (with good working knowledge of general accounts payables and receivables; payment processing; account reconciliations; etc. considered essential)
  • Hands-on ERP Accounting system knowledge is desired

3.) Marketing Manager
Location: Oyo

  • Identify specific regional marketing goals and objectives to enhance the growth of market share, by creatively and analytically developing campaigns, setting measurable goals, and developing the means to gather performance data.
  • Maintain and provide strength to company’s brand position; ensuring visibility in assigned regional marketing area.
  • Tracking and reporting marketing activities and budget status vis-a-vis spend to Region Head and Country Marketing Manager.
  • Develop marketing plans and ensure smooth execution of promotional activities in the Region.
  • Identify target audiences and creatively devise and implement engaging tailored marketing campaigns across channels
  • Oversee and approve the design and production of marketing collaterals.
  • Managing relationships with vendors, ensuring accurate and timely execution of marketing collateral creation, Auditing actual vendor output authenticity of Activity, costing, documentation etc.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and activities, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Leverage consumer insights and category data to identify and assess market opportunities and understand consumer demand.
  • Responsible for maintenance of ongoing integrated brand image and message throughout all design and production of marketing and promotional assets.
  • Manages market research/competitive intelligence of competitor activities and determine how information impacts strategy development.
  • Ability to plan and execute GTM strategies
Candidates Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience within marketing and branding, WITH special preference for Previous experience in a cross channel, B2C Marketing role.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Solid Campaign Management experience.
  • Excellent planning and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy and marketing plan
