Olusegun Obasanjo who slammed President Buhari again yesterday in an interview with BBC Yoruba, also stated that even if you have stolen the whole Nigeria, once you join APC you’re safe.

Obasanjo who disclosed that Buhari’s government accommodates corrupt politicians who defect to the APC, added that those politicians who stole 15 years ago but attack the present government get dragged.

He said;

Now you can steal the whole of Nigeria, and if you belong to the APC you are safe. But you can steal N10 and criticize Buhari and his government, 

even when you stole that N10 15 years ago, they will come and say look you stole N10, you have seen that

This is coming after the former President who reacted to a statement about him being ‘sick’ by Buhari, slammed the Nigerian President again who according to him is sick in the spirit, body and soul.

Obasanjo who stated that Buhari needs to rest and allow another person to take charge of the country in an interview with BBC Yoruba, said;

“Buhari is sick in the spirit, body and soul. Let’s beg him to go and rest. He has tried his best. Let give chance to another person.

“When people ask me that what if the next person is not suitable, I tell them that is the beauty of democracy.”
