A yet to be identified young man who stole an undisclosed amount from a ladies bag escaped being served jungle justice after he was caught.
This happened in Abia state, it was reported that the young man asked the lady to get him a dettol and a soap, while the woman was bringing it, he used the opportunity to steal from her.
The suspect who was apprehended after the lady raised an alarm, confessed to stealing the money and further begged the crowd which later forgived him, but the suspect was stripped to his underwears before he was released.
The man who seem to be very lucky to have escaped jungle justice felt remorseful as it is a rare thing to escape jungle justice in this country.
