HOUSEMAID ALLEGEDLY FLEES WITH STEW AND BOSS PROPERTY WORTH N500,000

An 18 year old housemaid, identified as Queen, has been alledged of stealing her boss property worth N500,000. 

The boss who is identified as Omawunmi Odejide said she returned home from a birthday party of her friend who turned 40 around 8pm on the day of the incident only to see her two kids wandering in the compound. 

The lady then asked about the where about of her housemaid from neighbours who told her she said she was going to buy something around 7pm and was yet to return. The boss who said she was initially reluctant to go for the party but her housemaid encouraged her to go. 

The 37 year old lady said Queen went away with one box containing the goods she packed from her shop. She also added that the maid went away with her children's clothes,  designer wristwatches and sunshades.  

She said before the incident, she had a boutique that she runs, but due to some issues, she could not continue with it again,  she had to pack her goods home. 

Mrs Odejide who expressed her disappointment, said 
"This lady is someone I took in like my daughter because she told me that she lost her mother at a tender age,  she looked innocent. I don't lock the rooms when i go out. 
" she went away with the stew I prepared, Rolex wristwatches,  expensive sunshades that I sell and the one I used, female and male jeans, long towels,  three male wristwatch and 10 female wristwatch, pendants all worth N500,00".

Odejide said the housemaid must have had an accomplice because she wouldn't have carried those stolen items all alone. The matter had been reported at the Sagamu road police Division. 

The state Police Public Relation Officer, CSP Chike Oti, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect would be apprehended.
